Fondant is a versatile sugar mass with several areas of use in bakery and confectionery. It is often used as a cover or decoration for pastries, such as donuts and other pastries. Fondant is also often used as a base for confectionery fillings. In these cases you add ingredients such as cocoa powder, chopped nuts, coconut flakes or other seasonings. It is also possible to add any color to give the fondant your desired shade.
How to use
Heat the fondant to 40-50 ºC if you want it liquid. In liquid form it is easy to stir and various additives can be mixed in. You can also process the fondant with a whisk to the desired consistency.
