About us

Göteborgs Food Budapest was founded in 1993 and is today one of Europe's leading B2B producers of chocolate, compound coatings, fillings and fondant. Our products are used by the confectionery, bakery and ice cream industry as well as in cafes, ice cream parlors and restaurants.


Where tradition meets innovation

Gothenburg's Food Budapest was founded in 1993 by two industry colleagues with a shared passion for confectionery and entrepreneurship. Jenö Csonka lived in Budapest while Sandor Turos moved from his native Hungary to Gothenburg.


Today, the company is run by the owner's sons Attila Csonka and Anders Turos, together with a complete organization. We take pride in providing our customers with the attention, flexibility and quality that we always have, but today have a capacity and price level that allows us to compete with the industry giants.


We ensure high quality products. From raw materials to monitoring physical, chemical and microbiological parameters during production.



Our production is optimized for flexibility – we can often deliver quickly, in small and large volumes. Flexibility also permeates our mindset and we know that we're appreciated for quick responses and short lead times.


We are a family-owned company with active owners. Through true consideration for our customers, we build long-term relationships where we are a partner to be reckoned with.
